Sun and Moon

Mackenzie (6years old) had an interesting idea today:

She: “What if I draw a sun and a moon together? That would be crazy!”

Me: “You mean there would be always day and night at the same time?”

She: “Yes… Or what about there’s a sun on the one side of the room and a moon on the other side?”

Me: “So day and night would be just one step away?”

She: “Yes. And if you walk into the night side you’re getting very tired.”

Me: “And if you wanna wake up you just have to walk to the side with the sun?”

She: “Yeah.”

I think that’s an amazing idea. But I’m asking myself now…how are you gonna know if you’re tired when you’re on the sun side?

Can you just be awake forever?
